CHALLENGE:
Sinead Bovell approached Bunker Hill Media to capture a day in her life as she prepared to speak at Inbound here in Boston. To say we were stoked on this project upon hearing from Sinead is an understatement… we were next level stoked! Sinead had found us through our use of #bostonvideographer so it was pretty surreal to see that the social media marketing that we were doing seemed to be working in our favor. Outside of that… this project was a dream to us from start to finish. We were able to follow her throughout her morning to get ready for her big moment. It was a really neat and collaborative effort from the start and it’s just pretty awesome to work with like-minded people.
The initial plan was to produce a single behind-the-scenes video, but after seeing the first edit, Sinead requested an additional cut that delved deeper into the conversations we had while filming. This extended the project and provided an even richer narrative. Working with Sinead was an incredible experience, and we are eager for the opportunity to collaborate with her again in the future.
PRODUCTION:
The production for Sinead Bovell's project was all about being nimble and efficient, crucial elements for successful video production in dynamic environments. Armed with our Sony FX3 camera, we operated with minimal equipment—no lights and just our trusty RODE Go mics—to ensure we could move quickly and capture every spontaneous moment of Sinead's busy day. This lean setup allowed us to be highly adaptable, ensuring that we didn't miss any important moments as we documented her preparation for the Inbound conference.
Our approach focused on maintaining a high level of visual quality while staying unobtrusive. The Sony FX3 provided the perfect balance of portability and performance, enabling us to capture stunning footage even in challenging lighting conditions. This project demonstrated Bunker Hill Media's expertise in producing high-quality video content under tight timelines and variable conditions. Our ability to deliver exceptional results with a streamlined setup highlights our commitment to excellence in video production.
